Chapter 1: Social Media Marketing Fundamentals

Students will develop an understanding of goal setting, buyer personas, platform selection, and best practices. Students will build a foundation of social media strategies.

Students will explore the fundamentals of Facebook marketing. They will learn strategies and tools for developing paid and organic campaigns on Facebook.

 

Students will explore the fundamentals of YouTube marketing. They will learn strategies and tools for developing paid and organic campaigns on YouTube.

 

Students will explore the fundamentals of Instagram marketing. They will learn strategies and tools for developing paid and organic campaigns on Instagram.

Students will explore the fundamentals of TikTok marketing. They will learn strategies and tools for developing paid and organic campaigns on TikTok.

Students will explore the fundamentals of Twitter marketing. They will learn strategies and tools for developing paid and organic campaigns on Twitter.

Students will explore how to match social media channels to campaign needs, including Yelp, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Students will also learn about influencer marketing.

Students will explore how to manage a brand across social media, with attention to budgets, optimization, reporting, and ethics.
