WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Upon successful completion of this course, the students will be able to understand cybersecurity support roles and how teams collaborate to address threats. They will be able to configure and secure Linux and Windows systems, manage IP addresses and SOHO routers, and ensure safe web browsing. Students will gain insight into enterprise networks, including switches, firewalls, and virtualization. They will learn to apply cybersecurity controls such as intrusion detection, incident response, and vulnerability management, as well as develop Bash scripts to automate tasks. Emphasis will also be placed on protecting data through backups and database management. By the end of the course, students will be prepared to transition into Security+ training and further pursue a career in cybersecurity.
